Tirol Werbung – Making Tracks

Andreas Hafele directs a summer and winter lead campaign, for the Tyrol tourism board (Tirol Werbung). Andreas follows a mountain bike world champion through wind and rain, aiming to capture an authentic vision of cycling. “Making Tracks” is a collage of sounds and stand-alone moments, following Lisi Osl’s training rides across the lush hills and striking terrain of the Kitzbuehl Alps.

Continuing the campaign in winter, Andreas decided to portrait two renown free-skiers, Björn Heregger and Stefan Häusl in the Austrian ski area of the Arlberg. The film explores the region’s snowy landscapes, by following the pair on their daily exercise run’s, enjoying the winter environment. The Arlberg region is a hotspot for the freeride community and the terrain and the way one can access off-piste ski routes are particularly good.
